My research examines how the EU regime of borders structures stratified mobility and noncitizenship, with a focus on the Mediterranean and postcolonial mobility pathways.

I received my PhD with distinction in Migrations and Anthropology from ICS-ULisboa. My research examines how the regime of borders structures differential mobility and belonging, with particular attention to postcolonial pathways and everyday bureaucratic encounters.
